It runs and strikes at the top of the hour counting off the hours. Has a 8 1/2 inch movement. Case showing average wear for a clock over 100 years old. Dial was replaced with a paper dial. Clock measures 21 1/2 inches tall, 14 1/4 inches wide. It was missing the bezel and glass. I will pack with plenty of insulation to insure safe transit. Seth Thomas SUSPENSE Desk Alarm Clock Smoky Lucite #0520-000 Works. In good working condition with scratches and smudges consistent with age and usage. Tested and it works. 115 volts, 60 Cy. Cream/almond clock cylinder is suspended in the back to the lucite cube that is open on the bottom. There is a number (7110 although the 7 is partially missing) stamped on the tag.
