Runs well for 5 days then slows a bit looks like it may need oiling but i will not open it. Looks like a nautical government clock made in the USA. Nice looking but I really like maritime chime clocks so I m willing to let this one go. Paint on back can be cleaned since it is old. The hinge is strong and locks properly. Beautiful Seth Thomas Vintage Mid Century Modern Atomic Space Age Starburst Clock – Quartz. This is a vintage clock and is the “Picturesque” model #E626-000. It has a little different design than most starburst clocks in that the (24) wood spires get wider as they go away from the face and they extend slightly outward from the center.
