Both wind up keys are working well. Glass is clear and intact. Face is not yellowing. Back is brass color and looks clean. All hands are intact and in good working condition. Color overall seems to fade from brass at the top to silver on the base.

I’m not certain as to it being the original Seth Thomas key issued with this clock, but it does fit perfectly.

Very nice non-mirror version. Overall, a beautiful looking 160 year old clock with no work needed. 15 1/2″ tall, 9 1/2″ wide and 4 deep.

Seth Thomas Clock Movement 89E – RC577. For your consideration we have a Seth Thomas 89E time and strike clock movement for parts or repair. It comes with pendulum leader, gong, alarm mechanism, and bell. It will need to be cleaned and serviced before use. There has been some solder work (see pictures) to some bushings on the back plate.
