Seth Thomas 12 Antique Drop Octagon Wall Clock, 8 Day Movement’WORKS’. But doesn’t keep accurate time.

Seth Thomas “PARMA” 8 day Time and Strike. Fantastic Movement Excellent condition. Appears previous owner had it professionally cleaned and serviced not long ago. The case is sound. The finish is slightly crackled and a few dings and bumps. Flame Mahogany with beautiful Inlays. Case would benefit from a good polish. Dial looks real good, we do not see any chips or cracks. Beyond rare and hard to find alone is a set of early original Seth Thomas urn style finials. These came off an early on the Seth Thomas Pillar and Scroll clocks just after their earliest wood finials, 1820’s. The base and spiral style top are turned cast brass. Bowels are two piece spun brass. The steel posts are just under 1/8 dia. With just a few threads on the top of the rods. They show some rust and tarnish which they should for their age. Seth Thomas Litchfield clock. Functions as it should. Time only, 15 day. Signed dial and movement. Good pendulum, suspension spring. Dial, hands, all appear original. Bottom glass looks original, top glass might be earlier replacement. Case has blemishes but appears to be original finish. Make a fair offer.

HARD TO FIND SETH THOMAS FROM PLYMOUTH HOLLOW! Looks to have a capital type scene with an American flag. The original backing paper always adds to the look and feel of these old ogee clocks. Black body with brown marbled type columns. 25″ tall, 15″ wide, and 4.5 deep. The wood body is in good shape with light signs of age. VERY NICE SETH THOMAS 4 1/2 CLOCK MOVEMENT, REPAIRED AND SERVICED WITH NEW MAINSPRINGS AND NEW SUSPENSION ROD. THIS MOVEMENT HAS BEEN DISASSEMBLED, ULTRASONICALLY CLEANED AND ALL PARTS POLISHED, DAMAGED OR WORN PARTS ARE REPAIRED OR REPLACED. BUSHINGS ARE REPLACED AS. NEW MAIN SPRINGS WERE UNWOUND.
