Beautiful condition as shown in pictures. Key included, fully working. Cathedral gongs on hour. Bell chime strike on half hour. This clock has been properly oiled and is keeping time and running like new. 17″ base, 12.5″ height. Has a small shim fastened to back foot shown in close-up picture to keep it level, not even noticeable.

Beautifully colored Seth Thomas Mantel Clock for repair. The clock is in wonderful cosmetic condition, and more than likely, it can get up and running quickly. It looks to be taken care of quite well. It seems the hook that holds a pendulum bob is broken, and I’m guessing replacing that may get the clock going, just a guess. I have come across these clocks many times and never see one in quite this condition. That’s why I’m guessing replacing the pendulum arm may do the trick. Seth Thomas “Adamantine” Mantel Clock with Cathedral gong strikes on the numbwr of times the hours is and every half hour strikes a single soft Bell note. This is an 8 day key wound Seth Thomas movement. This clock has had some 85-90% restoration amd looks really good for a clock built in.

VERY NICE SETH THOMAS 4 1/2 CLOCK MOVEMENT, REPAIRED AND SERVICED WITH NEW MAINSPRINGS AND NEW SUSPENSION ROD. THIS MOVEMENT HAS BEEN DISASSEMBLED, ULTRASONICALLY CLEANED AND ALL PARTS POLISHED, DAMAGED OR WORN PARTS ARE REPAIRED OR REPLACED. BUSHINGS ARE REPLACED AS. NEW MAIN SPRINGS WERE UNWOUND. The mainsprings look good. The bushings look good. The plates measure about 5-3/8″ by 3-5/8″ (without extension). The distance between plates is about 1-3/8. The center to center distance between the hand arbor and the winding arbors is about 2. The center to center distance between both winding arbors is about 3-3/16. Does not come with pendulum.
