Inside it is marked with an ST 5165 4604. It appears to be keeping time. I have not polished it so it is slightly tarnished. There appears to be some dents/chips/flaws in the outside brass case.

Please see the photos as they are part of the description and condition. The clock runs for a short time when is wound up (I never wound it up the whole way) It will need some attention.

3 Clock – 3-3/4 Dial – Brass Case 1922 Model A very fine and all orginal Seth Thomas No. 3 Clock is in good running condition and a very clean silvered dial. Clock and barometer work great.

I have disassembled, cleaned, oiled the movement, and have cleaned & polished the case. The dial face has a brushed stainless steel finish, and shows both 12 hr. A winding key is included for the strike & movement mainsprings. A silver custom 3D printed base is included for desk or mantle display. The clock measures 5-1/2 in diameter, and weighs just over 3 pounds.

The clock is in very fine condition and complete it is in running and keeping very good time. Fitted with a Seth Thomas double spring, detached eleven jeweled escapement, compensating balance wheel, Breguet hairspring, cut steel pinions, and heavy milled solid brass plates. These movements were Seth Thomas’ very high end performers and where also used in their railroad clocks. The dial is engraved and silvered and is very clean. The clock movement is all housed in a solid heavy cast brass case with hinged plate glass bezel and keyed door lock. This is a Seth Thomas bulk head MK 1 clock. It runs and keeps good time, maybe a 1 minute ahead every couple of days. This can be adjusted out by using the f-s adjustment. An unusual component of this claock is that the glass cover isn’t hinged, but unscrews from the body, see pictures. I realize there is information on the back of the workings of the clock but I’m not that familiar with clocks to be confident to remove the body from the case to glean the information.
