This is Seth Thomass 5 bell Sonora chime clock with a signed Fred Bucher & Sons Baltimore Md. The clock is in nice condition and seems to run and chime properly. The case looks to have been re-shellacked at some point, and looks pretty good. There are a few scratches and scuffs, but overall the clock looks great with a rare signed dial. Nice Seth Thomas gallery clock that dates to the early 1900s. Walnut case is solid and no veneer. Original wavy glass in brass bezel. Dial is an excellent replacement by Chad Mitchell. Key and pendulum included. This is an 8-day time only clock, it does not gong, nor was it ever intended to gong on the hour. Clock case is in its excellent original finish. I have had this clock for many years and it has always ran strong. I have never done a timing test. It has a great sound. The face has a chip around the keyhole as shown, also the case has a few small chips also shown. Neither of these takes away from this great clock. I will package it to the best of my ability. Up for sale is this Rare Antique Seth Thomas Brass & Copper Ships Clock Style Mantle Clock with a 6 Dial. This model is often seen with a ships bell movement, this has a pendulum movement striking on a coil. Both mainsprings are good, otherwise untested. Case shows quite a bit of soiling and oxidation. One footing is loose.
