Has the original bob and is tested, it runs great without issue. The clock has run for days straight without stopping, runs like a dream and the chime and gong works great! I winded it near fully and the clock ran flawlessly the entire time until needing a new wind. Hard to find in this condition! This is fine Seth Thomas marked Seth on the dial that has excellent luster remaining It has been running and striking fine since purchasing and checking out in early spring and for those who don’t realize they go up to 8 strikes every half hour for a total 4 hour watch. The door/bezel is a twist off being more rare and the other in one of the pictures is a hinged bezel which is much easier. Onondaga Salvage Shipwreck Artifact by B. Just north of Watch Hill Reef, Rhode Island, rests the steel hulled freighter, Onondaga. The wreck is partially intact and rises 20′ off the gravel bottom. Never have seen a piece such as this. His artwork made from the Onondaga is considered RARE and is highly collectable when it is available which does not seem to happen often. This piece has a Seth Thomas Helmsman E537-014 mounted to base. So I assume at some point it has been converted from its original mechanical movement, perhaps? Still an overall stunning piece of art by an artist whose pieces rarely come to market.
