This is one of my favorite type clocks being a Navy veteran and Seth Thomas(w Ansonia) being one of my favorite clock makers. Beautiful Seth Thomas outside escapement pillar and scroll clock. The backboard, dial, bell, hands, pendulum, pulleys, movement and label are original and period. As you can see, the movement is attached to the dial and makes use of compound pulleys. The 30-hour wooden works movement is untested but complete. Nice addition to any collection. You are looking at a Seth Thomas clock. It is not working. I do not have a key. I believe the clock is “wound”. The top is 9 in diameter. It is about 4 1/2 tall. The wood is in great condition. The back screening on the large hole is cut. The pictures should show details and condition.
