PRICE DEPARTMENT STORE IN KANSAS CITY MISSOURI AT THE HEIGHT OF THE EXHUBERANT VICTORIAN PERIOD. THE CLOCK APPEARS TO BE ALL ORIGINAL WITH AN ORNAMENTED GOLDEN OAK CASE. THE GLASS AND ORIGINAL STENCIL ARE BOTH INTACT. THE CASE HAS THE UNUSUAL FEATURE OF A BUILT-IN SPIRIT LEVEL TO ASSIST IN HANGING THE CLOCK ON A LEVEL PLANE FOR ADJUSTMENT AND TO INSURE THAT THE CLOCK REMAINS IN BEAT.
