This pair is from a yacht that was refurbished. They have been stored in a drawer for over 20 years without the battery. The clock started right up as soon as I put a new AA battery in. I saw a bit of movement in the needle of the barometer when I turned the silver knob, but I can’t guarantee it works. The front of the set is in excellent condition. There is a bit of wear on the backside from being mounted to the yacht’s cabin for several years prior to me acquiring them. VERY NICE SETH THOMAS 4 1/2 CLOCK MOVEMENT, REPAIRED AND SERVICED WITH NEW MAINSPRINGS AND NEW SUSPENSION ROD. This movement model stamped 89AL was used in adamantine cased mantel clocks starting in c. 1915 and into the c. Measures 12-1/2″ X 10-1/2″ X 5-1/2. The clock is time-only and includes the original Seth Thomas mechanical brass movement with dual mainsprings. The clock is in excellent condition, runs well (see video), and includes a key (the key is not original to the clock). Per the photos, there are negligible marks/dents to the clock from age/use.
