THIS MOVEMENT HAS BEEN DISASSEMBLED, ULTRASONICALLY CLEANED AND ALL PARTS POLISHED, DAMAGED OR WORN PARTS ARE REPAIRED OR REPLACED. BUSHINGS ARE REPLACED AS. NEW MAIN SPRINGS WERE UNWOUND. THE MOVEMENT WAS THEN REASSEMBLED, OILED AND SET IN BEAT. THE TIME AND STRIKE FUNCTION AS SHOULD THE CLOCK GONGS THE HOUR AND RINGS THE BELL ON THE 1/2 HOUR. This movement model stamped 89AL was used in adamantine cased mantel clocks starting in c. 1915 and into the c. Measures 12-1/2″ X 10-1/2″ X 5-1/2. Beautiful reddish brown case in wonderful condition with only a few tiny nicks which is normal for this great timepiece of over 100 years old. Running and striking as it should.
