Antique Seth Thomas Mantel Clock “Rebecca at the Well” c1870 Painted Spelter. Beautiful clock with bronze looking patina but its painted that way. One of the palm tree fronds broke off in the back and the porcelain dial is chipped around the key holes which is normal especially at the age of this clock. Seth Thomas 48J Rack and Snail 8-Day movement, strikes on cathedral gong on the half hour, and on the hour with the hour count. Clock has a Beautiful Fully Restored Mahogany cabinet with natural patina left, excellent condition. Offered with the original Seth Thomas Porcelain dial with Arabic Numerals, solid brass bezel and glass. Clock movement was completely overhauled, cleaned and oiled for another lifetime.
