Antique Seth Thomas 4 Column Green Black Adamantine Mantle Clock RARE
This is an exquisite mantle clock, made by Seth Thomas in the Adamintine celluloid finish. The pattern is faux marble, varigated green, black and beige. This particular clock is considered rare and is highly desirable; please notice the fluted corinthian columns, layered in the same adamintine finish. It has been inspected, cleaned and oiled by a master clocksmith from Texarkana, TX. I can get you in touch with him. The key is a modern repro with the ST Logo. Dimensions: 15″ L x 11″ H x 7 1/2 W. Look at the pictures and see the condition of this clock, which is amazing since it was mfd. About 118-128 years ago (the lable shows a patent date of 1880). The clock face is brass w/paper numerals behind that; all appearing original. There is a blemish in the black finish of the clock on the front (see photo #11). It runs and chimes the half hour and hour. The item “Antique Seth Thomas 4 Column Green Black Adamantine Mantle Clock RARE” is in sale since Sunday, March 31, 2019.
