Im not sure exactly what is happening, but they dont seem to be working. Maybe I just need a different battery, or maybe the clock mechanism needs to be replaced, Im not sure. Ive included a picture of the mechanism so youre aware of what the issue could possibly be. There are a few finish scrapes also, which Ive tried to show in the picture. FULLY RESTORED SETH THOMAS TIME ONLY 12 GALLERY CLOCK WITH 12 INCH DIAL. The clock has a fully and properly restored Model 41AC movement. Seth Thomas made the Chatham model of gallery clock for over 20 years, starting in 1904 and ending in 1924. The date of manufacture is in code on the back of this clock, it was made in October of 1919. The case is in very good condition and everything appears to be original. Early Seth Thomas Ships Clock Time & Strike No 10 Movement in Nice Bakelite Case. The clock has some cosmetic scratches and marks, but the Bakelite case is very well-preserved. The dial is approximately 6 in in diameter and is painted metal. Some of the graphics have faded and rubbed over the years. The clock runs strongly during the time I’ve had it, but the strike doesn’t operate. The strike spring is still good in a clock and I don’t know if someone intentionally stopped the strike or not.
