We are offering this beautiful Seth Thomas Clock. The clock is an 8 day time and strike. The clock is in excellent condition and was serviced about 6 months ago and is in running order. This is one of the most beautiful clocks I’ve own and it would make a great center piece in any home or office. I’m not sure if the paints is original, but from what I’ve seen I think it is. Antique Seth Thomas Sonora No. 5 Chiming Shelf or Mantel Clock, Adamantine finish with 90D movement. Excellent condition, keeps good time, chimes properly, but needs work. Case in fantastic original condition, with no cracks, splits etc. Very minor wear with age. The original convex crystal is in perfect condition with good hinges and latch. The dial is showing some wear and discoloration. Needs a few repairs/adjustments. The hourly strike mechanism is not working. The spring is broken or detached.
