Body made in the late 1800’s. Looks to be made of walnut… Please see pictures and use your best judgement. FANTASTIC DESIGN THAT IS HARD TO FIND. 11 1/2″ wide, 19 1/2″ tall, and 5 deep. The wood body and glass is in great shape with no cracks or chips. The face has a couple age spots that are hard to see with the door closed. The door closes and locks in place with its original lock. No loose wood sections. It runs for a short time only so may need oiled. The reverse paint on the glass looks fantastic with no wear. Offered is a 1920s Seth Thomas key-wound beehive mantle clock having an 89AL 8-day movement. The clock chimes the hour and once on the half hour. It measures 10 ½ high x 8 ¼ wide x 5 ¼ deep and sits on 4 brass feet. ST and 89AL are marked on the movement. 1920A is stamped on the underside of the base. A two-sided winding key is included.
