Wood case with Black Finish and faux Marble Adamantine Columns and Accent trims. Gong Strike on Hour and half hour. Ornate Brass Dial Ring. Partial Label remains on’inside of backboard. The numbers, 29811 are stamped on underside of clock case. Fast and Slow Adjustment located above the numeral 12 on clock face. Professionally Cleaned, oiled and adjusted 8 Day movement. Vintage Seth Thomas, Northbury 1-E, model E704. From the description on the inner label has a B-1700 series chiming movement. Appears the power cord was replaced at some point and wire nutted with a replacement cord that includes a resettable fuse. Clock has been tested and works! Chiming mechanism has a slide switch to lock the chime and keep it from chiming. Includes a small key for setting adjusting the time/chime if necessary. This clock was listed for sale several years ago and it did not sell. It has been is storage. Think the gong was working at that time. The clock is not gonging at this time.
