This is a really nice hard to find antique Seth Thomas 8-Day chime Adamantine six full pillared mantel clock. This is a very hard to find model in this configuration as most of these type clocks have only four pillars or half pillars. The code on the bottom of this clock (5091D) would date it to April 1905. This listing is for a gorgeous antique mantel clock by Seth Thomas & Sons (retailed by Mitchell Vance & CO). This one is quite grand looking and utilizes cast metal for its French style case. The 15 day time/strike clock movement was last serviced in 2017. We tested it recently and it ran and chimed (half hour and hour bell chime). Clock appears to be in overall good condition. This Seth Thomas clock functions properly & gongs on the hour. 20 1/4″ tall by 15 1/2″ wide. After winding the weights up it commences to run until the weights rest on the bottom of its case.
