Item sounds only at 1hr mark. Key winds the gears nice and smoothly. No tension or binding. The pendulum will go back and forth for half a minute before gently coming to a stop. Minute hand moves when pendulum is in motion. The wood have many bits of damage/ware. Item measures 10in wide, 14in tall, and 4.5in deep.

Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine Clock. Runs well and has bell chime and gong strike. Case is in excellent condition! Runs well and keeps good time (winding key included). Measures 16 1/2 in. Across and 11 1/4. This one is a real nice. There is a few specks of paint vary small i did not try to remove them. I thought best to leave alone. And small nick here and there nothing bad.

Seth Thomas “Adamantine” Mantel Clock with Cathedral gong strikes on the numbwr of times the hours is and every half hour strikes a single soft Bell note. This is an 8 day key wound Seth Thomas movement. This clock has had some 85-90% restoration amd looks really good for a clock built in.

LEGS AND TOP SCROLLS WERE DESTROYED. THE ONLY SERVING PART WITH ANY DAMAGE IS THE MOVEMENT AND GLUE REPAIRED CRACKS IN THE LOWER DOOR GLASS, shown in pics. THERE ARE 2 TEETH MISSING ON THE STRICK SIDE GEAR (shown in a pic). EVERYTHING ELSE SEEMS FINE. PICS ARE THE DESCRIPTION, WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU WILL GET.

Update #1: Someone reached out and suggested that the second hand is also clipped and shorter than original. I don’t know enough to say for sure, but I’m happy to report this as another potential issue in addition to the condition issues below. Condition notes: decent shape, but parts only. The sun-numbers in red are often much more faded. The colors are good. The second hand isn’t firmly attached to center dial. The screw down doesn’t appear original – it’s brown instead of a matching black. One screw (of 3) missing from metal ring holding dial in case.
