Early Seth Thomas 8 Day Alarm Mantle Antique Clock Circa 1860’s. Seems to work well when pendulum is unattached. Gongs properly at every hour. Doesn’t appear to be missing any parts! Contains original Seth Thomas 8 Day paper label on inside. Clock measures 16″ in height x 11″ wide. Appears to be in good condition! Zinc dial plate is missing some paint. Key works well, but may not be original to clock. Please look closely at all pictures to determine condition for yourself. Early Seth Thomas Ships Clock Time & Strike No 10 Movement in Nice Bakelite Case. The clock has some cosmetic scratches and marks, but the Bakelite case is very well-preserved. The dial is approximately 6 in in diameter and is painted metal. Some of the graphics have faded and rubbed over the years. The clock runs strongly during the time I’ve had it, but the strike doesn’t operate. The strike spring is still good in a clock and I don’t know if someone intentionally stopped the strike or not. Up for sale is this Early Antique Seth Thomas Brass Marine Lever Locomotive Or Ships Clock. A key will be included. This clock was restored by a previous owner and they mounted the dial to the sides of the case in a way that in order to get to the movement you have to remove the the brass tacks or nails and pull it out the back (after removing the hands). The dial is a replacement or is repainted. Case measures about 6 1/4 diameter. Please view all 12 photos to help judge condition.
