This super nice clock is in very good strong running condition as shown with no breaks or cracks. It has the highly desirable Mayland Chime Rods. Their chime is beautiful, rich and lyrical! It chimes a partial chime on the quarter hour and chimes the full chime and the correct number of dongs on the hour. Glass face has good hinges and latches closed securely. This is an excellent Vintage Large Brass Clock Porthole that would look great in a Restaurant/Bar, Office or wherever you like. This porthole has 4 brass screw eyes which unscrew to remove the front. The glass front is plexiglass. You could make a unique table out of it if you like. The clock inside is a Seth Thomas which is a newer model and works great. It takes a double A battery.
