Early Seth Thomas 8 Day Alarm Mantle Antique Clock Circa 1860’s. Seems to work well when pendulum is unattached. Gongs properly at every hour. Doesn’t appear to be missing any parts! Late 19th century, working, Seth Thomas Roman numeral ships clock. Eight day wind up with 2 hands seconds dial. Retains most of the original paper on wood back. Front glass door is not chipped, nicked, or cracked. Metal body has no dents, rust, or scratches. The clock measures approximately 3 1/2″ in depth and approximately 6 1/2″ in diameter. 1900s Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine Mantel Shelf Clock Working Correctly. Displays and performs great. Measures 11 tall, 15long and 6deep. The case and finish are in very good condition with very few marks. The finish displays well. The 4.5 ornate dial, 5.5 bezel and glass are all in very good condition. The dial is a replacement dial. The 8 day brass movement is clean and works correctly. Keeps accurate time and correctly strikes on a bell every half and on a gong every full hour. Antique Seth Thomas 8 Day Striking Mantle Clock. This beautiful clock was made by The Seth Thomas Clock Co. In Thomaston, Connecticut, USA during the earlier 1900’s. It features a quality Seth Thomas #89 movement which has been cleaned and is in good running order, keeping time and gonging properly. The nicely styled mahogany case is still in the original finish. It is in very good condition and beautiful in appearance. The original painted dial and brass bezel assembly is also in remarkable shape.
