1918 (Seth Thomas type) Beehive Style Mantel Clock. In excellent working condition, some facial wear from long use, original finish – never oiled to my knowledge, w/pendulum weight and winding key. This clock sat upon my grandparents mantel as a child. Hearing the chime again after 60yrs, brought tears to this 75y/o mans eyes. This clock runs fine as does the chime. Body made in the late 1800’s. Looks to be made of walnut… Please see pictures and use your best judgement. FANTASTIC DESIGN THAT IS HARD TO FIND. 11 1/2″ wide, 19 1/2″ tall, and 5 deep. The wood body and glass is in great shape with no cracks or chips. The face has a couple age spots that are hard to see with the door closed. The door closes and locks in place with its original lock. No loose wood sections. It runs for a short time only so may need oiled. The reverse paint on the glass looks fantastic with no wear.
