This is a beautiful antique Adamantine mantle clock in great working condition it measures about 16″ wide 7″ deep and 12 tall. It works well and chimes.

Originally patented in 1921. This movement is stamped 115 D 4703 with the Made in USA ST geometric stamp. Ad by Seth Thomas Reads. Silverplated dial has numerals etched in black. Precision made 11-jeweled movement with temperature compensated escapement and Breguet hair-spring. 5? Back Diameter. 5? Face frame Diameter. Weighs 5 lbs 13 oz. The mechanism was carefully pulled and photographed to determine movement number, but we are not experts in repair and have lightly cleaned exterior parts, and reassembled. Front silver trim and glass hatch opens from the side. Front Measures 7 inches in diameter and 4 inches thick. Back plate measures 7 inches in diameter. Made in the U. Three pre drilled holes already exist for mounting. Front face has two key turns for winding (keys included). Clock has been wound up but currently not working. Crafted in Thuringia, Germany in the early 20th century, it features a stunning rectangular shape and a brown mahogany finish. The clock is powered by a battery and has a mechanical movement with an 8-day feature. It runs and strikes at the top of the hour counting off the hours. Has a 8 1/2 inch movement. Case showing average wear for a clock over 100 years old. Dial was replaced with a paper dial. Clock measures 21 1/2 inches tall, 14 1/4 inches wide. It was missing the bezel and glass. I will pack with plenty of insulation to insure safe transit. Has the original bob and is tested, it runs great without issue. The clock has run for days straight without stopping, runs like a dream and the chime and gong works great! I winded it near fully and the clock ran flawlessly the entire time until needing a new wind. Hard to find in this condition! Glass on the front is in good shape, has the back cover as well, missing the key. Clock runs and works as it should. The half hour bell and hour gong works and sounds great. This is fine Seth Thomas marked Seth on the dial that has excellent luster remaining It has been running and striking fine since purchasing and checking out in early spring and for those who don’t realize they go up to 8 strikes every half hour for a total 4 hour watch. The door/bezel is a twist off being more rare and the other in one of the pictures is a hinged bezel which is much easier.
