Antique Seth Thomas mantel clock. Runs well, strikes on the hour and chimes on the half hour. Measures about 10.25″ tall and the base is about 8.75″ x 5.5. Condition is as seen in photos. Scratches, dings, and other vintage wear. It has an old key that fits, although it is not the original (it is marked “West Germany”). The key has a solder repair. Vintage Seth Thomas, Northbury 1-E, model E704. From the description on the inner label has a B-1700 series chiming movement. Appears the power cord was replaced at some point and wire nutted with a replacement cord that includes a resettable fuse. Clock has been tested and works! Chiming mechanism has a slide switch to lock the chime and keep it from chiming. Includes a small key for setting adjusting the time/chime if necessary.
