Antique/Vintage Seth Thomas Mantle Clock. Nice wood cabinet with four pillars & a lion’s head on each side. In very nice looking condition. Clock may have been refinished. Clock will run for about a minute with pendulum attached but with no pendulum it will run a little longer. I’m not sure if pendulum is original to clock or not. There is No Key. Also along with the pendulum is a long hooked wire that hooked to pendulum and stuck into a tiny hole in the inside of case which I believe was used to hold pendulum from moving during being moved or storage. This clock is an estate find and while the key is present I have not wound the clock as I’ve read that they can be wound too tight. The key, Pendulum Rod, and Bob are present. There are four antique screws present on back panel that I don’t believe are original (see photos for details). The original label is still affixed to the back. This item for sale is a antique Seth Thomas Carriage Clock standing 11 tall. It still works, may need some light adjustments. The clock is not perfect, has some wear on finish, I believe it is brass frame, a couple of the glass panels have some damage in corners. This is a beautiful vintage Seth Thomas Westminster Chime 8-Day Mantel/Shelf Clock. It is Tambour Shape clock. I think it is Model 59. It has a silver tone dial. The face is marked “Made by Seth Thomas in USA”. On the back of the clock works is’Made in USA” “ST” mark and “119A. There is silent/chime lever on the back. The Front clock glass is cracked and needs to be replaced.. But it does wind up..
