This Seth Thomas Mantle clock dates to around 1920. This is a Cymbal #6 model with the original #89L movement. This clock was made in the United States of America. Movement has been completely overhauled and is in working condition. Movement taken apart, ultrasonically cleaned, repairs made as needed, new springs installed, lubricated and tested. Includes key and pendulum. Movement is a double strike movement. It single counts the hour on the hour, does one double strike on the quarter hour, two double strikes on the half hour, and three double strikes on the three/quarter hour. This is a beautiful vintage Seth Thomas Westminster Chime 8-Day Mantel/Shelf Clock. It is Tambour Shape clock. I think it is Model 59. It has a silver tone dial. The face is marked “Made by Seth Thomas in USA”. On the back of the clock works is’Made in USA” “ST” mark and “119A. There is silent/chime lever on the back. This is a lovely case clock in excellent vintage condition. It winds and keeps time nicely, and chimes beautifully. The wood case is in excellent vintage condition, no chips, no cracks, no damage. Antique Seth Thomas Thirty Hour Spring Chime Clock with Original Pendulum. Clock measures 15-1/4″ tall x 11-1/2″ wide x 4-1/2 deep. Beautiful wood cabinet is in excellent condition. We wound it slightly. It kept time for a half hour and chimed before we packed it. Appears the clock dial may have been painted. Does not include key. RARE Antique ELI TERRY, Woodworks With SECOND HAND, Retirement Gift From DuPont Family. As told this clock was given as a retirement gift to a long time employee of the DuPont family. This eight day woodworks with second hand was made in the 1820s and seems to be completely original.
