Seth Thomas Prospect No. Fully and properly overhauled, serviced and tested No. 89 Seth Thomas Time and Strike movement. The movement appears to be original to the case. Case finish is original with some alligatoring which attests to the clocks true age. Nice contrasting light wood marquetery against brown mahogany finish. It has a date stamp on the bottom of the case which indicates this example was manufactured in January of 1917. Pendulum Bob and winding keys are appropriate replacements. This item for sale is a antique Seth Thomas Carriage Clock standing 11 tall. It still works, may need some light adjustments. The clock is not perfect, has some wear on finish, I believe it is brass frame, a couple of the glass panels have some damage in corners. I saw damage on the back panel and one side but there may be minor defects not mentioned. So please check all photos carefully. The clock is in good shape overall. This Seth Thomas School House / Office clock dates to 1920. This clock was made in the United States of America. Movement has been completely overhauled and is in working condition. Movement taken apart, ultrasonically cleaned, repairs made as needed, new springs installed, lubricated and tested. Includes key and pendulum. Cabinet is oak and has been refinished. This listing is for an awesome antique calendar clock. This clock was made by the Seth Thomas Clock Co. It is the Parlor No. This clock utilizes an 8 day time/strike movement, which attaches to a lower calendar movement (with separate dial). The lower movement tells the day of the week, the month, and the day of the month. A tag attached indicated that the movement was serviced last in 2016. Used on US Navy ships during and after World War 2. This clock is in very good condition and running strong keeping excellent time. There are a few scratches on the case and crystal. The dial is dated 1943 and the movement is dated January 1944. The metal shock mount is missing, but the hinged back plate is in very good condition. The clock measures 8 3/8″ at the widest point across the back, the dial is 5 1/2″ dial, and the case is 4 deep. Please look at the pictures, they provide the best description.
