Seth Thomas Westbury Antique Mantle Clock – Clock Works – Chimes Not Working. Made around 1940 I’m guessing. I have added a 5′ cord to plug into a standard electrical outlet. Original cord and plug is missing. Opening glass in front. Front has beautiful decorative inlay. Clock keeps time, but Westminster Chimes are not functional. Approximately 101/2″ tall, 81/2″ wide, 6 deep. Mahogany body has a few minor surface flaws, but is in overall great condition for being around 80 years old. Antique Seth Thomas 8 Columns Lions Adamantine Mantle Clock Vintage With Key. The clock and hourly chime is in good working order. There must be something disconnected from the half hour single chime. Apologies for the poor video. This clock works and looks very decent for it’s age. The last year Seth Thomas Clocks used adamantine was 1917. I do not know the exact age, but at minimum it was built in 1917.
