This listing is for a gorgeous antique mantel clock by Seth Thomas & Sons (retailed by Mitchell Vance & CO). This one is quite grand looking and utilizes cast metal for its French style case. The 15 day time/strike clock movement was last serviced in 2017. We tested it recently and it ran and chimed (half hour and hour bell chime). Clock appears to be in overall good condition. A few tiny micro chips around the keyholes of the dial. The angel statue has one slightly damaged index finger (see photos). This clock comes with its pendulum. Vintage Seth Thomas, Northbury 1-E, model E704. From the description on the inner label has a B-1700 series chiming movement. Appears the power cord was replaced at some point and wire nutted with a replacement cord that includes a resettable fuse. Clock has been tested and works! Chiming mechanism has a slide switch to lock the chime and keep it from chiming. Includes a small key for setting adjusting the time/chime if necessary. Rare Seth Thomas no. 2003 8-bell Sonora chime clock with key. Very few still exist. Winds up, runs, and chimes. Service history unknown and clock is in unrestored original cosmetic condition with original finish and surface wear.
