Tested – works well and keeps good time. Chimes on hour (gong) & half hour (bell). Original Seth Thomas key. Date stamp 1914 F = June 1914. This was the same month of the assassination of Arch Duke Ferdinand which led to the start of WW1. Make us a reasonable offer!! – we will negotiate. Antique Seth Thomas Metronome de Maelzel – wood – Works! For sale is this antique metronome my seth thomas. The bottom has the name and date or the previous owner (Lillian Kendrick, Sept 25 1917 – Montevallo Alabama). I believe it is missing the cap (top of pyramid). There’s chipping on the front cover. The back foot came off (see last pic). I have tested this piece and it clicks for about 15 minutes straight. Don’t miss out!!

Mixed Fruit wood case 11+1/2″H by 14″W by 6D. This item showing visible signs of cosmetic wear from regular use but overall it is in a function condition looks great and displays nicely. TESTED Working Seth Thomas’ Sons & Co. New York, NY, No. 8051, 8 day, time and strike spring driven brass movement figural shelf clock Maidens Musician & Artist. Watch the video to hear the delicate bell strike for the hour and half hour. The cast metal cases were most likely made by Mitchell Vance & Co. New York and supplied to Seth Thomas. Their catalog offered clocks made by Seth Thomas with cases made by them. Condition: Cast spelter case retains most of it’s bronze finish, but has a small scratch on the center column. Original porcelain dial in very good Condition Roman Numerals. Back access door is original. Heavy Beveled Glass to cover Dial. Dimensions: 12.5in x 19in x 4.5in Circa: 1872in Original condition, has a several small scratches or chip on the paint, one of the leveling legs is bent, but in very good condition over all, the key is a Seth Thomas replica. The Clock has been Tested for 10 days, Cleaned and oiled mechanism, Works and keeps accurate time.
