Antique Seth Thomas No. 124 Westminster Chime Mantel Clock Nice Working. We are offering for sale this very nice antique Seth Thomas No. 124 Westminster chime 8-day mantel or shelf clock. This clock is 21″ wide, 9″ tall and 6 deep. The dark Mahogany wood case is nicely accented with a contrasting lighter tone design under the dial giving it a timeless elegant look. The silvered metal dial has bronze raised numerals and is in nice condition and is marked with the Seth Thomas name. The door frame is brass with convex glass and the hands are original. The original movement is also marked with the Seth Thomas logo and the movement number 124. The Seth Thomas key is included. Antique Working 8 Day Seth Thomas 413A Westminster Chime Quarter Hour Clock as shown. It runs and strikes as it should on each quarter hour. Measures 15 inches tall, 10 1/2 wide and 7 1/4 deep. The dial has been replaced and shows well. It is missing the small knob on the front door. Very nice working clock Circa 1920. WE PRICE OUR ITEMS TO SELL!! An amazing Estate find. A Seth Thomas Model 102 from the 1880s in a stunning faux burl wood adamantine finish with a deep, rich luster. The finish came to us in good condition and we have used our neutral cleaner and applied a coat of hard wax and done minor cleaning to the copper accents. The movement is of the period but does not appear to be the original movement housed in the case (based on mounting holes inside the case). Movement has been cleaned, lubricated, adjusted and keeps excellent time with a bell on the half hour and gong on the hour. The clock came to us from an area collector. Condition: the clock is in full working order, both time and strike, and has been run continuously in our workshop without incident. A small area of finish is lacking on one corner and is pictured in the images. The original dial has some toning and the usual marks around the winding arbors. Most of the original label on the back is still present but very toned. The photographs are an integral part of the condition statement. The clock is 16.5 inches wide, 6.5 inches depth and 11.5 inches in height. Pre-packing weight 8 lb 13 oz. We are happy to consider your reasonable offers.
