This antique Seth Thomas “Metal Series” #4 oak parlor clock from 1906-7 is a beautiful collectible piece with a Victorian style. The clock features a mechanical movement powered by a spring, with a brown wood and metal construction. This clock is in decent cosmetic condition, but could perhaps use some TLC. The clock was made around 1929. The clock keeps good time and chimes at the half hour and hour. The movement has been disassembled, had one bushing installed, cleaned, reassembled, and properly oiled. It runs for the full 8 days. Please inspect all the HD pictures closely. The clock is 19 and a half inches wide, 5 and a half inches deep, and just over 9 tall.

This style of clock dates back to the patent date of September 7, 1880, making it a genuine piece of American Victorian horological history. This clock has a classic late-Victorian/Eastlake design and is perfect for collectors or as a magnificent statement piece. Key Features and Condition. Style: Victorian/Eastlake Mantel Clock. Case Material: Wood case with the original durable Adamantine finish, designed to mimic black slate or marble. Aesthetics: The case is primarily black with attractive marbled tan and brown accents on the top slab and base trim. Ornaments: Features decorative bronze-toned lion’s head ring pulls on the sides and elegant brass-toned claw feet on the base. Antique Seth Thomas No. 124 Westminster Chime Mantel Clock Nice Working. We are offering for sale this very nice antique Seth Thomas No. 124 Westminster chime 8-day mantel or shelf clock. This clock is 21″ wide, 9″ tall and 6 deep. The dark Mahogany wood case is nicely accented with a contrasting lighter tone design under the dial giving it a timeless elegant look. The silvered metal dial has bronze raised numerals and is in nice condition and is marked with the Seth Thomas name. The door frame is brass with convex glass and the hands are original. The original movement is also marked with the Seth Thomas logo and the movement number 124. The Seth Thomas key is included.
