00 4-BELL – 1914. For offer is this beautiful Seth Thomas Chime Clock No. 00 4 bell Sonora that was produced in the year of 1914. The original adamantine finish on the Mahogany wood case is in great condition as the pictures will show. The adamantine finish along with the man made character marks on the top is considered in great shape and the shape of this clock is simple yet pleasing to the eye. This clock has a strong, smooth running, rebuilt 89 AE movement that. Been keeping excellent, consistent time for the past weeks. The 90 H Sonora movement has also been rebuilt and is functioning properly as it should. Both movements have an upgraded high polished back plate that have a mirror like finish. All the best features are on this model. Dark, Arabic numbers on a 5-inch silvered dial that shows little wear and gilt ornamental corners that can be clearly seen/read from a distance. Signature Seth Thomas Blue steel spade shaped hour and minute hands. Gilt brass feet at each corner bearing their original finish. No scratches or chips on the original flat glass. The original adamantine finish on the wood framed front door the panel back door opens and closes properly as they should. This model is equipped with 4-Sonora patented resonated bells. With silent chime lever for the quarter hour chimes only that you can see and hear each quarter hour followed by the full Westminster chime with hour strike in the video provided. The original boy on fence pendulum bob and the original two-sided key come with the clock. The back panel door has its original set up label/instruction on it. Being a model that is not seen often in the public market, along with having the original bob, instruction label and key make this clock very desirable and highly sought after. Every aspect of this clock is fully functional. Disassemble the entire clock and movements myself completely. Bush all worn pivot holes with Burgeon bronze bushings as needed. Clean the entire movement ultrasonically. Clean the original dial being careful not to alter its original condition. If the dial is to far gone, it will be professionally silvered and restored back to Seth Thomas dial specifications. Clean bezel, parts and chime rods by hand. Clean the outside of the original finish by hand with mild cleaners as well as the inside and apply a coat of wax by hand. I will never alter the finish or farm out the clock not knowing what is being done to the clock. This does decrease the value of a clock. Reassemble the clock, oil and lube in the proper places. Adjust chime and strike hammer sequence properly to assure smooth and even strikes at each quarter-hour and hour. Electronically regulate the beat and adjust the speed while the clock is level to ensure accuracy for many generations. Inspect and adjust every minor detail of the clock assuring full function and peak performance for many years to come. Test the clock for a minimum of two weeks to ensure peak and proper performance for the new owner. Smoke free, pet free home. All clocks are cleaned removing odors. Antique Seth Thomas No. 124 Westminster Chime Mantel Clock Nice Working. We are offering for sale this very nice antique Seth Thomas No. 124 Westminster chime 8-day mantel or shelf clock. This clock is 21″ wide, 9″ tall and 6 deep. The dark Mahogany wood case is nicely accented with a contrasting lighter tone design under the dial giving it a timeless elegant look. The silvered metal dial has bronze raised numerals and is in nice condition and is marked with the Seth Thomas name. The door frame is brass with convex glass and the hands are original. The original movement is also marked with the Seth Thomas logo and the movement number 124. The Seth Thomas key is included. Antique Working 8 Day Seth Thomas 413A Westminster Chime Quarter Hour Clock as shown. It runs and strikes as it should on each quarter hour. Measures 15 inches tall, 10 1/2 wide and 7 1/4 deep. This is antique Seth Thomas mantle clock. Well maintained and serviced. All figures are working (silent-chime mode). The clock features a mechanical movement and a Westminster chime sequence plays the classic Westminster tune. It has been preserved as an original antique. High 13″ width 10″ depth 7. The clock chimes on the quarter hour and strikes on the hours. The oak case is in good condition with age wear and few scuffs in front. A few spots on dial.
