Antique Circa 1850s – 1860s American Clock Company IRON FRONT Parlor Mantle Clock – See Video. Movement – Time & Strike with gong chime – 8 Day. Dial – Likely Original. Operating condition – I have many clocks to test and limited time to do so – Tested – This clock needed a bit of oiling to get it running, it winds up on both sides fine and i have run it for over 3 days, seems to be a good runner but as said in the video the movement is dirty and has probably never been cleaned in its 160ish years of life and would greatly benefit from a proper cleaning – See Video.
