This antique Seth Thomas Fleet Series No. 2 (often called the “Great White Fleet” or “Peace Cruise” clock) features a solid oak architectural case with stud accents and a lower reverse-painted glass tablet depicting a historic U. Navy battleship fleet scene. Fleet’s around-the-world cruise. Features: Typically houses an 8-day time-and-strike movement, a signed paper dial, and frequently included an optional mechanical alarm. Design Details: Distinctive pyramid-style crest, corbel side brackets, and etched or reverse-painted maritime glass depicting steam warships. This clock includes 2 keys and the pendulum. The pendulum is not hanging but it does include the rod to hang.

This Seth Thomas Adamantine mantel clock features a classic architectural silhouette, finished in a deep black veneer with striking faux-marble inlays on the crown and base. The front panel is decorated with gold-tone incised floral scrolls, and the case sits on four detailed, scrolled cast metal feet. Movement: 8-day brass mechanical movement, Made in U. Case Material: Wood with and cast metal hardware. Features: Roman numeral dial, decorative brass-tone bezel, and rear bell strike. Mechanical: The clock is in working condition. It has been tested and successfully runs until the spring winds down.. It has run for several days without any stopping.. While it is currently operational, it has not been tested for long-term timekeeping accuracy and may require the standard cleaning or adjustment expected of a mechanical movement of this vintage. Case: The Adamantine finish remains glossy with vibrant color. There is a small chip in the veneer on the lower-left corner of the base, and the cream-colored dial shows a natural aged patina and foxing. It chimes when the minute hand goes past 6, won’t stay running but can see minute hand move and other gears moving, has some scratches, marks, no glass, etc. Measurements are in the photos.
