An exquisite antique Victorian Seth Thomas alarm clock adorned with intricate green man motifs. This metal clock is a beautiful decorative piece despite being non-functional, ideal for collectors or as a unique home accent. This measures about 10″ tall and 8″ wide from the bottom base. This clock is for decorative only. It is missing the glass on the front. It is not working. It has some rust and age. Antique Victorian design. Seth Thomas craftsmanship. Intricate green man motifs. In excellent cosmetic and operating condition. Has a Seth Thomas No. 120 compact 8-day pendulum regulated movement with one-striker time-and-strike chimes on a cathedral gong. Movement has been cleaned, lubricated where appropriate, calibrated, and thoroughly tested. The case is wood finished in a very dark cherry. Case has its original finish in beautiful condition. It has been cleaned and coated with a protective hard sealing wax. Has a bronze bezel that retains its original patina, an aluminum face with black Arabic numerals. The face has some scuffs (see detail photo). Chimes synchronize automatically to the time. 9″ tall, 20″ wide, and 5.75 deep with a 5.75-inch dial. Weighs just over 5 pounds. Comes with a winding key.
