Here is a hard to find antique original, Seth Thomas Ding Dong strike Adamantine mantle clock in great working condition. It comes with a key but not the original key. It needs a double sided key for the fast and slow pin. It runs a little slow because I do not have the fast slow key. Easily found, I do not know the size though. The key that comes with it will wind the clock and the chime side. Great paper label still attached to the inside of the back door. Thanks and have a Blessed Day. The dial is marked Seth Thomas and Manufactured in the United States of America. The movement is also marked Made in U. This is a highly collectible American antique wall clock style, often referred to as a schoolhouse or drop octagon regulator clock. Condition: This is an antique used clock showing normal age-related wear throughout. The wood case has scratches, finish wear, small chips, age cracks, repairs/wood separation and patina. Brass parts show oxidation and tarnish. Dial and glass show wear, marks and age. Please see all photos for exact condition. Clock is in a really great shape. I don’t know a whole lot about the mechanisms of clocks. The pendulum seems to swing, but I don’t see the hands necessarily moving. Just looking at the mechanism it doesn’t seem to be damaged in any kind of way.

Brown Adamantine faux marble exterior. Measurements approx: length 13.5″, height 10.5″, width 6. Weight 6 lbs 8 oz. Numbered at the bottom 4981 H. Antique September 7th, 1880. Not tested – keys are missing (any same-type-clock keys will work). Eing a used item, there are signs of prior use on it like a few body abrasions, a little fading, staining and general wear. (see photos), but overall it is still in a good condition. I do my very best to inspect each piece, note every imperfection I may see and support my findings with photos. Seth Thomas Antique Tambour Mantel Clock – c. This classic American tambour design features a domed wooden case, decorative inlaid detail, original brass side sound grilles, and a signed enamel dial. The clock is fitted with a high-quality 8-day mechanical movement, recently serviced and cleaned. It runs smoothly, keeps good time, and strikes the hours clearly on a gong, with the correct strike count throughout all twelve hours. The wooden case remains structurally sound and displays its original proportions and detailing. At some point in the late 20th century the case was over-stained; this has now been carefully cleaned, stabilised, and finished with wax, resulting in an attractive, even tone with honest age-related patina. There is a small section of moulding missing to the rear edge of the case. This does not affect function, stability, or the front-facing appearance and is reflected in the price. The original enamel dial is signed. And is protected by its original brass bezel and glass. Height: 34 cm (13.4 inches). Width: 15 cm (5.9 inches). Depth: 26 cm (10.2 inches).
