Vintage Seth Thomas mantel clock featuring a beautiful wood case with pointed steeple accents and floral hand-painted details on the dial and lower glass door. Condition: Good vintage condition; case shows minor scuffs, edge wear, scratches, and some finish loss appropriate for age (see photos). Some marks and dust visible inside, and wear/spots on back. Please review all photos for close-ups of condition details. Clock face displays’Seth Thomas’ branding and’German Movt. (German movement) printed at the bottom of the dial. Traditional Roman numeral face with ornate vintage-style clock hands. Lower door features an oval glass panel with painted wreath and flowers revealing the brass pendulum. Pendulum and winding mechanism present inside. No winding key is shown/included. Approximate measurements: 16.5 inches tall x 9.25 inches wide x 4.75 inches deep (see measurement photos for reference). This model is a classic steeple-style shelf mantel clock, popular for Victorian and early 20th-century decor themes. Made in Germany (movement); overall construction likely assembled/refinished in USA under Seth Thomas brand. Great collector’s piece or classic accent for your vintage or traditional home decor.

Antique Circa 1870s Victorian Seth Thomas Cottage Mantle Clock. For similar items related to this check my Clocks section in my store. Operating Condition – This clock operated but only for a few mins, i would expect it needs a good oiling or cleaning, but it seemed to function properly mechanically, chimes tested good. Please understand i don’t know when this clock was last serviced IF EVER and it MAY need service for long term optimal operation. Features – Original dial – Comes with a pendulum and key. Measures 15″ X 12″ X 4 – Hand Painted scene on the door. Case Condition is as seen – Superb example – VERY clean, some wear around the door frame but otherwise the case looks flawless to me, no chips, cracks or damage. This antique Seth Thomas Gothic Steeple Clock, also known as the “Sharon” model, is a beautiful and functional piece of Victorian decor. With an 8-day movement and a chime sequence of time and strike, this clock runs and strikes smoothly, but not tested for accurate timekeeping. Made of mahogany wood and brass, this clock features a rectangular shape and stands at 14″ tall, 9″ wide, and 6 long. The clock is in good working order but has not been tested to ensure that it is keeping accurate time. Time keeping adjustments are easily made by loosening or tightening the pendulum nut. Whether you are a clock collector or simply looking for a unique piece of antique decor, this Seth Thomas Gothic Steeple Clock is a great addition to any room. A Seth Thomas “Sharon” steeple mantle clock. Clock comprised of a mahogany body with a pointed top flanked by decorative finals, and set on a plinth base. The white face has black Roman numerals, with hand painted pink flowers and green leaves to top and bottom corners. Under the face is a black glass with gold tone oval pendulum window. Hinged door front to access the face and the pendulum. With key Works Need Adjust. 9.25″ W x 14.5″ H x 4.75 D.
