This is a very attractive and desirable Seth Thomas Adamantine which I enjoy purchasing and working on because Seth Thomas made very high quality movements and pioneered the sort of veneer over wood look that looks great. This is not a top of the line adamantine but has a very decent look going with the lions heads tan beige marble tone and good looking bezel. But the dial does have cracks around the winding ports. You don’t really see them from a distance but…. It also has a slight dent on the top which is barely noticable. It is a nice size measuring about 11 1/2″ tall x 14 1/2″ wide and 6″ deep and a 5″ dial. It has a good sounding chime that strikes proper number on the hour and a single for the half as all adamantines do. This is a gone through and checked for any problems runner and I always double check and set fast slow before packing sometimes I find something I missed and a communicate a slight delay.
