The clock runs and comes with a winder. The clock will need servicing to get it in tip top shape. I was told by someone (not professional) that looked at it quickly, that it was wound a little tight, mentioning that in case that is true. Cosmetically it is in nice condition. It has a small chip to the adamantine in one corner, a couple scuffs on the black, but nothing major. See all pics for details as I do try to show flaws. Please message me with any questions. Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique SETH THOMAS Larkin Soap Company No. 35 Victorian Adamantine Mantel Shelf Clock, made by the Seth Thomas Clock Company Thomaston Conn. It has an Ornate Footed Victorian Adamantine Case with Black Ebony Adamantine Veneer with Green Marbled Adamantine Accents, Footed with Lion’s Paw Feet, and Dual Pillar Columns on Each Side. The Dial is the Original Paper Over Tin Dial with Ornate Brass Center, and Gilt Bezel, Signed “ST Manufactured in the United States of America”. It has a Seth Thomas Brass Mechanical 8 Day “Time and Strike” Key Wound Movement with Cathedral Coil Spring Gong Chime, and Bell Chime. The Movement is signed ST Made in U. There are 2 Winding Arbors, and It includes a Winding Key and Correct Heavy Adjustable Pendulum. The Clock measures approx. 17 3/4″ Wide x 12″ Tall x 7 Deep. The Clock Has Been Sitting a Long Time, It is Fully Wound and Currently Not Working. It will need Lube, Adjustments or Attention to Work Correctly.
