C1863, Seth Thomas Clock Co. PARLOR CALENDAR, 8 day 2 weight double dial perpetual calendar clock. This model has octagonal opening for the dials, and a beautiful reverse painted tablet in the center. The beautiful rosewod veneered case has a newer finish. There are minor chips at the extreme edges of the case. The upper dial is refinished, while the lower dial has a newer paper dial. There are 2 extra mounting holes in the lower dial. The hands are modern replacements. The two weights are original. The hook broke off one – a wire is securely wrapped around it and hangs well. I have the weights hanging on the clock. The movement has run ok for the past 2 days. The calendar changed dates, but needs adjustment. The clock has great original pendulum, labels, instruction card, and good rollers.
