Antique Eco Magneto / Seth Thomas Master Clock Rare Solid 1/4 Sawn Oak Case. This is a nice condition Master Clock made by The Eco Magneto Clock Co, Chicago, USA and the Seth Thomas Clock Co. In Thomaston, Connecticut, USA. This clock features the original signed Seth Thomas movement which is not running, but is complete and ticks with pressure applied. It comes with a parts mechanism that is missing the balance wheel, but has many, useful parts still intact. The solid quarter sawn oak case is in nice condition. The original finish is aged and worn, but still nice looking. The original glass with gold leaf lettering is in pretty good condition. The gold lettering is well preserved. The black painted background is aged and flaking, but would be fairly easy to restore. It is probably not far from one of a kind or museum piece. The measurements are 15 1/2″ wide x 18″ high x 9 deep. This clock comes complete with the key. This helps ensure that the new owner will have a satisfying experience. Be very sure to save all packaging material if there is a problem. All sales are final (with the exception noted below). It is nearly impossible to find one in “mint” condition. If a clock has damage from misuse, it will be noted. If a clock is running properly when it arrives, that is about the best we can do. All sales for this type of item are final. Circa 1915 Weight Driven Oak Wall Regulator Case. This clock has seen very good care over its lifetime. The oak cabinet is in very good condition it is my opinion that the case should be restored. Original old wavy glasses Brass Glass Retainer ring inside the solid oakwood bezel Dial brace is present also. Case is not full of extra holes Old brass beat scale indicator on the inside back of the clock. The clock case is in good condition the doors open and close correctly. Latches and locks are present and in good order. Lock mechanism also in fine working order to. This case measures 35 3/4 inches in height by 16 inches wide at the head piece.
