Seth Thomas WWII US Navy Mark I Boat Clock 1941, Chrome finish, complete with original mounting plate. Used on PT Boats and Submarines. Runs and keeps good time. Dial and Chrome are in good shape. Comes with key and Oak wall mount. Dimensions: The case is 6 inches at its widest and 3.5 inches deep, the dial is approximately 3 3/4 inches. Note that WWII military clocks often contain radium on their dials for luminescence. Use appropriate caution if dismantling or servicing.

Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine 8 Day Clock. Very nice condition, all things considered this clock is at very least 125 years old. Works were removed, cleaned, serviced & oiled with clock oil. Ready for use and enjoyment. Clock rings small bell once on half hour and gongs once for every hour on the hour. Looks like original clock dial face. 15 3/4″ wide, 17 1/4″ including legs. 4 1/2 diameter clock face.

Unusual Antique Seth Thomas 8 Day Inlay Mantle Clock W/ Porcelain Dial Runs. This nice looking and unusually styled clock was made by the Seth Thomas Clock Company in Thomaston, Conn. This model features a signed Seth Thomas 48 R 8 day movement that is in good running and gonging order. It counts out each hour, i. 1 gong at 1:00, 2 gongs at 2:00, etc. On a high quality flat coil gong that has a great resonating sound, and announces each half hour with a single toll. The case is classic in style and craftsmanship. It is still in the original finish and has aged beautifully over the years. Measures 12 high x 8 wide x 6 deep. The original signed porcelain enamel dial and solid brass bezel with beveled edge glass assembly is also in great condition. This was actually the practice of the Seth Thomas Clock Co. We will include easy to re-install instructions, which basically requires putting the gong stand back in its hole and fastening the nut from underneath. This clock comes complete with a key and the original pendulum. This helps ensure that the new owner will have a satisfying experience. Be very sure to save all packaging material if there is a problem. All sales are final, so please be sure that you will be happy by reviewing the pictures and descriptions that we provide. We honestly want you to be happy. It is nearly impossible to find one in “mint” condition. If a clock has damage from misuse, it will be noted. Here is a very nice condition “Adamantine” finish 8 day time and strike mantle clock made by the Seth Thomas Clock Co. In Thomaston, Connecticut during the very early 1900’s. This clock is in a red woodgrain style Adamantine finish which may have been designed to simulate rosewood. The brass bezel and dial assembly is in very nice condition. This clock features the original signed Seth Thomas movement, which is in good running condition, keeping time and striking properly, counting the hour, i. 1 gong at 1:00, 2 gongs at 2:00, etc. And announcing the half hour with a single toll. It is a quality movement that, if properly maintained, should last many lifetimes. The “Adamantine” finish, which is a patented laminate finish from the late 1800’s, is also quite nice. There are a few minor handing marks and touch ups, but overall it is a great looking clock. You may notice a little shrinkage at the corners and edges, and some cracking here and there, minor touch-ups, as well as minor dings, dents and scuffs, which is the nature of the Adamantine finish. It is a thin laminate over soft wood, similar to our plastic, and so shrinks, cracks and dents fairly easily with just normal use over time, but as seen in the pictures, this clock shows very well. It is complete with a key and the origianl’boy on a fence’ pendulum and is ready to place up on the mantle and enjoy. The measurements are 13″ wide x 11 ½” high x 6 deep. Antique Circa 1850s – 1860s American Clock Company IRON FRONT Parlor Mantle Clock – See Video. Movement – Time & Strike with gong chime – 8 Day. Dial – Likely Original. Operating condition – I have many clocks to test and limited time to do so – Tested – This clock needed a bit of oiling to get it running, it winds up on both sides fine and i have run it for over 3 days, seems to be a good runner but as said in the video the movement is dirty and has probably never been cleaned in its 160ish years of life and would greatly benefit from a proper cleaning – See Video.
