Seth Thomas beautiful antique mantel or shelf clock. Has an 8-day pendulum regulated movement with time-and-strike, it strikes the hour with a gong and the half hour with a bell. It winds up, it strikes every hour number of times it should -like 4 o’clock=4 times, 1 o’clock one time, it does not strike every half an hour as it should. It runs for a few minutes once it is moved, then stops, so it needs some servicing. This model was patented and produced on and after 1880. Dimensions: 17″ wide, 12 1/4″ tall and 7 deep.
