Offered is this beautiful Seth Thomas Chime No. 60 produced in the year of 1939. The original dark chocolate brown finish on the Mahogany case looks great as the pictures will show. All the best features are on this model like raised trim in the front of the clock outlining the shape along the top ending at each end with distinctive moldings. Raised front panels of contrasting bird’s-eye maple. No scratches or chips are on the convex glass, one of the bezel forks to open was broken off but hardly noticeable and both front and back doors open and close properly. Another feature not found on the other chime clocks is a nice original 5 1/8-inch silvered dial with raised bronzed Arabic numbers applied to a background of harmonizing tint with fancy bronze serpentine hour and minute hands. A lot of times the tint is removed completely because of someone trying to clean the dial so finding one in this nice of a shape does not come by very often. The best sounding ST stamped chime rods are in this model which you can see and hear each quarter hour followed by the full Westminster chime in the video provided. The Westminster 124 movement has been completely rebuilt by me for many years of trouble free service. An original model label is on the bottom of the case and is in excellent condition. The original pendulum bob and original two sided key come with the clock. Every aspect of this clock is fully functional and in excellent condition. Disassemble the entire clock and movement myself completely. Install Seth Thomas parts on the movement as needed. Clean and lubricate the mainsprings for proper function of the movement. Replace all worn pivot holes with high quality Bergeon bronze bushings. Clean the entire movement ultrasonically. Clean the original dial by hand. Clean the bezel, parts and chime rods by hand. Clean the outside of the original finish by hand with mild cleaners as well as the inside and apply a coat of wax by hand. Clean the finish instead of altering or distorting the finish. This does decrease the value of a clock. Reassemble the clock, oil and lube movement in the proper places. Adjust chime and strike hammer sequence properly to assure smooth and even strikes at each quarter-hour and hour. Electronically regulate the beat and adjust the speed while the clock is level to ensure accuracy for many generations. Inspect and adjust every minor detail of the clock assuring full function and peak performance for many years to come. This is an antique Ansonia #5 clock open escapement movement, with ruby jeweled pallets, for a slate or marble clock with pendulum, hands, and key. This movement is not made or intended for a porcelain, cast iron, or wooden clock. This movement includes the hands, pendulum, and key. It has been timed correctly to match the pendulum. Dial is complete with clean glass, has no chips, original w/ beveled edge. This dial and movement come from the same clock and are a matching pair. Pendulum bob is original. The 2 ruby pallets are original. This is a #5 movement. This number is stamped into the brass on the rear of the movement. The needed distance from the center of the dial to top of the sound board is 5 1/2 This is to accommodate the length of the pendulum. The movement fits into a hole on the front of the clock that is 4 1/4″ to 4 1/2″ in diameter and this marble faceplate of the clock is 1/2 thick. This movement has been disassembled, repaired, and ultrasonically cleaned. New main springs installed. Movement repaired with new bushings. This also has a new suspension spring. Dial has been cleaned. Comes with the 3 screws for mounting the dial and movement to the clock. The last photo shows an Ansonia marble faceplate and how it should look. All of my restored mantel clock movements are completely disassembled, cleaned, repaired, timed and checked for 2 weeks minimum. They also come with the pendulum, key, and hands. The following measurements were taken “Center to Center”. Distance between 2 winding holes is 2 3/4. Distance between winding hole and center is 1 3/4. Distance between center and fast/slow adjustment is 2 1/8. Clearance needed from hand shaft to bottom of pendulum is approx. If you are replacing a movement, note the position of the hammer that strikes your gong. My movements also come with instructions on how to set the beat once you install it in your clock. Here is beautiful 1905 to 1909 Seth Thomas (Stratford) beehive mantle clock. It has a like new porcelain dial with beveled convex glass. It stikes on the hour and half hour. The cabinets in beautiful condition. The movement was completely disassembled, cleaned with all components inspected. Several bushings were replaced where required. It’s been running in test for several months and ready to go.

SETH THOMAS TAMBOUR – 1915. For offer is this granddaddy of all tambours. The largest mantel clock Seth Thomas ever made. The picture is just to give you an idea or reference in the size of this clock. The clock case is made from solid mahogany and shows very few character marks on the back top which can all be seen in the pictures. The case is a huge cylinder shape of holding the dial is accented atop a scroll like pattern on each side of the dial and a hand carved leaf design at each end of the clock. The molded edge to the front and sides of the base give this clock a solid foundation. Please use the zoom feature and enlarge the pictures to see all the details of this clock. This clock offers a large 8-inch convex silvered dial in very good condition showing wear with raised bronze numbers that can be read clearly from a distance and bronze serpentine hour and minute hands to compliment the dial. It even has the original grommets around the winding holes that give this clock a classy look. This clock also features a machined clasp heavy sash that has been cleaned without removing the original patina which opens and closes properly as it should. The original convex beveled glass has no chips or scratches in it. The brass back circular door opens and closes properly as it should and has a floral design to let the cathedral gong decay through the back. The material or cloth has been replaced. This clock has its original lollipop shaped cathedral gong, original bob and the original two sided key. Every aspect of this clock is fully functional. This model is equipped with an 89 movement that was the workhorse of all Seth Thomas movements that has a solid brass back plate and an open front plate that was completely rebuilt by me. This clock strikes the hour and half-hour on a resonant brass cathedral bell gong that is pleasing to the ear. The following procedures are done to each and every clock that I sell and none of the pictures are reused from a previous sale. Disassemble the entire clock and movement myself completely. Install Seth Thomas parts on the movement when needed. Bush all worn pivot holes as needed with superior Burgeon bronze bushings. Clean the entire movement ultrasonically. Clean the original dial sash and glass making sure not to alter the finish. Clean bezel, parts and chime by hand. Clean the outside of the original finish by hand with mild cleaners as well as the inside and apply a coat of wax by hand. Keep the original finish in tact. Very nice, 1921 Seth Thomas Tambour #74 mantle clock with 113 movement. Movement was rebuilt with several bushings replaced. All three main springs were removed, cleaned, and oiled. Beat was adjusted and has been running in test for several months. The chime and strike work as it should. All hammer pads have been replaced. The bezel and beveled glass show some wear but normal for its age. If you have any questions, please ask. I have rebuilt more than 100, 113, and 113A movements over the years. I’m trying to thin out my accumulation of clocks and sacrificing this one at such a low price.

Antique Seth Thomas Crystal Regulator Clock 8-Day, Time/Strike, Key-wind. The movement was just rebuilt with a new strike spring installed and tested through several winding cycles. It runs and strikes fine so should be good for years to come. There are a couple things that need qualifying, there are some chipped, broken corners on the glass, theyre on the top of the back door and top right panel. Also a smaller chip on the bottom right side. The doors will fully close but are tight and hard to open if you close them all the way, the pendulum is missing a nut at the bottom and the minute hand isnt the right one either. Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine 6 Column Mantle Clock Rebuilt 89C Movement. Condition is very nice with a few flaws as normally seen on clocks of this age. Most notably the faux marble finish is lifting on one corner of the right side column base, and a chip in the finish on the lower left side. It looks like the gold has been repainted on the columns capitals and bases and the front feet. The rest of the case is very nice with a good shine and minimal defects. The back has some paint spattered on it and the catch for the panel was repaired with a 1960s era pulltab flap. The glass is nice and the door works smoothly and has lion head handles. The 89C movement was just completely rebuilt, runs and strikes perfectly and should be ready for several years of enjoyment. Size is approximately 18-1/2 wide at the feet, 11-1/2 tall 7 deep at the feet.
