Double Spring, Runs 7-5/8 Bezel. Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep it for yourself! Nice looking wall clock here. Made by the Seth Thomas Company in the USA. This is not the smaller 4 case model. This is the larger 7-5/8 case model. Would guess from design that the clock was made prior to WWII. The clock is most likely a 16 day mechanical brass movement with the two spring winds. No strike or chime here with this clock. Nice black colored composite case here. The numbering and minute marking are done in black on the antique white background face. The hands match and look appropriate to the clock. The seconds hand is also in place and moves as expected. The slow/fast adjustment lever is in place on the face of the clock, and seems to work as well. No grommets in place around the wind holes on the face. The black colored case is all there. No cracks or repairs to the case. Does show some minor lacquer loss to the case, mostly on the bezel and some discoloration on the sides of the case. The case has a gold composite bezel that is securely attached to it by a hinge. The glass is intact, no cracks or blistering to the glass. The knob to lock down the non-hinge side of the bezel is still with the clock. The clock has most likely a 16 day mechanical brass movement. No maker markings on the back plate of the movement. Did not look at the front plate. The wind springs feels sound when keyed. The clock will come with a vintage wind key. The clock is mounted on a beautiful mahogany wood plaque. Nice emblem shape to the wood plaque. A hanger ring is in place on the back of the plaque. The clock face is 5 across. The wood plaque is 14-3/8″ across by 17.5″ long, by 1 wide. Did not look at the front plate. The wind springs feels sound when keyed. The clock will come with a vintage wind key. The clock is mounted on a beautiful mahogany wood plaque. Nice emblem shape to the wood plaque. A hanger ring is in place on the back of the plaque. The clock face is 5 across. The wood plaque is 14-3/8″ across by 17.5″ long, by 1 wide.
