SETH THOMAS DECK CLOCK ON PRESENTATION SHIELD. CLOCK CASE IS MADE OF PHENOLIC OR BAKE-A-LITE. BEZEL IS 7-3/4 DIA. WITH BRASS COVERING IN FRONT OF GLASS. GLASS SHOWING IS 5-1/2″, CASE IS 6″ DIA. FACE SLIGHTLY SMALLER TO FIT IN CASE. THE REAR MOUNTING FLANGE IS 7 DIA. WITH 3 MOUNTING HOLES, CASE IS 3-1/2 DEEP. WOOD SHIELD IS 16″ TALL AND 12″ WIDE 1 THICK OF BEAUTIFUL MAHOGANY. HAS BRASS DECORATIONS STARS AND LEAVES ON EITHER SIDE OF CLOCK AND BRASS BELL ON BOTTOM. BELL MEASURES 3″ TALL 3-1/2″ WIDE WITH BRASS CLAPPER. MOHAGANY IS FINISHED IN CLEAR LACQUER. CLOCK RUNS WELL KEEPS GOOD TIME. THE CASES WERE MADE OF PHENOLIC RESIN OR BAKE-A-LITE AS BRASS WAS IN SHORT SUPPLY. IT WAS BEING USED FOR BULLET AND SHELL CASINGS. Has key shown in photos.
