This c1909 Seth Thomas Model Parma has a balloon style mahogany case that is. Nicely detailed with inlay and has a signed convex porcelain dial and a convex. Movement is running and striking properly and is complete The clock makes an. Excellent appearance and displays beautifully The signed porcelain dial has a chip. On the outer edge by the number 7 that is not noticed when the bezel is closed. Please use all of the photo enhancement features to help you evaluate this hard to. Find Antique Seth Thomas Balloon Clock. The clock is approximately 12high x 7. 1/2″ wide x 5″ deep. This is a running clock with a nice sounding cathedral gong. This clock is all original except for the pendulum. The glass is in perfect condition. The clock hands are in great condition. The porcelain dial is in perfect condition with the exception noted above. The mahogany case is in great condition. No drying out cracks or blistering. The clock has been cleaned, serviced, wood cleaned and waxed, brass polished. It’s been bench tested, and running and striking for the last 30 days. Unfortunately, there are buyers who will over-wind the movement, wind/turn the keys backward, fail to balance the clock, vigorously shake the clock, twist the innards and rods, improperly hang the pendulum and break the suspension or just as bad move the clock around with the pendulum attached. Assume it will need and require repairs and service at some point in the future.

Seth Thomas “PARMA” 8 day Time and Strike. Fantastic Movement Excellent condition. Appears previous owner had it professionally cleaned and serviced not long ago. The case is sound. The finish is slightly crackled and a few dings and bumps. Flame Mahogany with beautiful Inlays. Case would benefit from a good polish. Dial looks real good, we do not see any chips or cracks.
