This company made a series using American cities as their names, other companies used opera names, rivers, ect. On the back it is stamped 8881 which you read in reversed and gives you it was made in 1888 this clock is 136 years old and is in excellent shape! 8 day time and strike spring driven lyre movement. Every hour counts out the hour on a cathedral gong and every half hour strikes once. Movement has been completely cleaned and serviced and is in guaranteed running condition. See video below images for demonstration of strike sound. Painted zinc dial with black Roman numerals. The dial has been redone but is a very good renovation. Beautiful damascene silvered pendulum. Walnut case with a spindled gallery (top), and gold gilt decor on the door which is in excellent condition. Reversed gold painted glass door with an Asian theme with dragons on pedestals with banners and a plant in an urn. Dimensions are Height 19″, Width 11″, Depth 5, and Weight 5 lbs. Seth Thomas City Series Parlor Clock Omaha model with alarm. This clock keeps perfect time, it has been running in my shop for over 30 days. It chimes on the half hour and chimes the count on the full hour. The alarm rings a nickel bell. The chime has a beautiful tone watch the video below to hear it. The label in the bottom is somewhat intact and readable but definitely has some damage on the label. All of the case parts are intact and in good shape, appear to be original to me. The dial is in excellent shape. The case is almost perfect. The winding key is included. I did remove the movement and cleaned ultrasonically, then lubricated properly, made some adjustments and then did a test run for 30 days.
